I would say propaganda is encouraged on this, but given that DC ages her like they age Tim, I don’t feel comics are reliable with her so go with what you feel like.

Oh and just to be clear on which retcon for Babs, I’m talking about her being 25 while Dick was still teen and Bruce was early thirties.

the most unrealistic part of nhie to me is how no one would want to date ben or have his fair share of popularity because jaren is a very fit and good looking guy this paired with him being smart, that’s it high school guy material lmao high school always has that one smart guy everyone is attracted to and i love how they are just now allowing jaren to wear tight shirts that show off his body and arms. and, no one would actually find devi unattractive because maitreyi is so beautiful so it doesn’t feel real.

but yeah i get this is a romcom style show that thrives with the idea of tropes but like it’s pretty unrealistic hdushdudgw

totally get where you're coming from !! however i do also want to note that reputation and what groups you run with also has a looooot to do with how people perceive you in high school. and from what we can tell, both ben and devi (and, by extension, fabiola and eleanor) don't really "fit in" with the main crowd. even when ben's with shira, he seems uncomfortable and out of his element, an outsider that was let in on extenuating circumstances (his parents' money giving him that in that he wouldn't have usually had due to his personality).

that being said i'm really glad that like, s3 onwards has shown that ben and devi (and well, all of the characters, really) are growing out of these awkward adolescent versions of themselves and starting to grow into the young adults they want to be. there's less focus on the fact that they're dorks and nerds or whatever you want to call them, and more focus on what makes them them, the things they like and the things they want and the dreams they have. it feels like such a natural progression - the show starting off with devi struggling with her own sense of self after her father's death and trying to change herself so a boy will like her, vs now as she lets herself be herself and surrounds herself with the people who love her for she is. ben working himself sick to meet up to his self-imposed expectations so he doesn't disappoint his dad, vs now letting himself breathe and have hobbies instead of flooding every waking minute with school work. it's so well done, and i'm so excited to see how that progresses into the final season.

Hm.

Interesting that the entire team of Young Justice 1000000 are comprised of people whose personhoods are very frequently a matter of debate or utilized as a plot point in fiction.

Superboy 1000000: a clone of Kon still operating within the restrictions of a futuristic Cadmus.

Robin 1000000: referred to as "the toy wonder" instead of boy wonder due to him being a robot, his personhood already questioned in his title alone as he is called a toy.

Impulse 1000000: a being that is suspected (but not confirmed) to be the amalgamation of 'random thoughts' of speedsters, someone who is not flesh and blood or even physical matter, but some sort of cosmic/ethereal construct and he is even referred to as a 'synapse' which is in some ways degrading.

There's a great commentary there that I do not have the spoons to dig into tonight.

Summary: can you please write an Damian Priest X Fem Reader Story where Reader is paired with an (face male superstar of raw of your choice) and that superstar has an Title Match against Damian, and Reader is ringside with that male face superstar and before the match ends she betrays/turns on the superstar to help Damian retain his title and join the Judgement Day afterwards at the top of the ramp Damian is posing with the championship up in the air reader in his arm smirking and kisses reader.

Sheamus looked at Y/N in shock as she stood outside the ring. A hail of boos was thrown at her. He swore he heard a couple of fabs yell curses at her. A part of him believed she deserved it. She just cost him the title match.

The jumbotron showed her betrayal for the audience to react once more. Sheamus ran to the ropes to get extra momentum. He was going to perform a brogue kick on the champion, Damian Priest. As soon as his back hit the ropes, Y/N grabbed his ankle. He tripped and fell onto the mat.

Damian helped Sheamus up and performed a chokeslam. He covered Sheamus. The ref counted one, two, three, and the match was finished. The champion retained, and his reign continued on.

Y/N shrugged as more of the fans yelled at her. She jogged up the ramp to meet Damian. His championship belt hoisted high in the air as if he did it all on his own.

"Congratulations," Y/N squealed and wrapped her arms around his neck. Damian used his free arm to wrap around her. They separated and looked at each other.

"You did wonderfully, mi corazon," he complimented. A playful smirk tugged at his lips. They leaned in and kissed. The fans turned on her even more.

"Wait until they see this," Y/N laughed and unzipped her sweater. She grabbed each side and opened it wider. Her shirt read All Rise El Campeon on it.

Now the world knew, she was the newest member of Judgment Day.
